This Corrections Policy explains how we identify, review and correct errors on PaisaMag.com.

  • factual errors are replaced with verified information

c) Timestamp Update

When a significant correction is made, we update the “Last Updated” timestamp on the article.

d) Correction Note (When Needed)

For major errors, we add a note such as:

Correction: This article was updated on [date] to correct an error regarding…

We correct:

  • inaccurate facts

  • outdated information

  • misreported details

  • wrong numbers or data

  • incorrect job notification details

  • spelling/grammar errors that affect meaning

  • broken or wrong source links

We do not alter:

  • stylistic choices

  • harmless typos that do not impact meaning

For government and defence job updates:

  • We rely on publicly available official notifications

  • If an update or revision is released by the government, we correct our article accordingly

  • If errors are reported by candidates, we verify and update promptly

🔹 6. How Quickly We Correct Errors

  • Factual errors: Immediate correction

  • Job-related errors: High priority

  • Minor updates: Within 24–48 hours

🔹 7. No Silent Edits

PaisaMag does not silently change important facts.

When an update materially changes the meaning, we:

  • update timestamps

  • add correction notes (if required)

🔹 8. Responsibility

All published content is reviewed by editors.
If an error slips through, the responsibility lies with the editorial team, and we take corrective action accordingly.
