Last Updated: 26/11/2025

At PaisaMag, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of journalism.
These Editorial Guidelines define how we gather, verify, and publish information, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and transparency.

🔹 1. Accuracy & Verification

We strive to publish information that is:

  • factually accurate

  • clearly sourced

  • cross-verified with credible references

Before publishing:

  • Information is verified through official websites, trusted news agencies, or authoritative sources.

  • Job posts are checked against official notifications or government portals.

We correct inaccuracies promptly (as per our Corrections Policy).

🔹 2. No Sensationalism

PaisaMag does not publish:

  • misleading headlines

  • clickbait

  • exaggerated claims

  • fabricated or unverified content

Our focus is on clarity, not sensationalism.

🔹 3. Transparency in Sources

We provide sources wherever relevant:

  • public documents

  • government notifications

  • company filings

  • press releases

  • global news agencies

  • research reports

When sources cannot be disclosed (e.g., defence-related insights), we maintain strict internal verification.

🔹 4. Independence & Impartiality

PaisaMag maintains complete editorial independence.
We do not accept:

  • paid political content

  • hidden promotional content

  • biased reporting for commercial influence

Articles reflect balanced, unbiased viewpoints.

🔹 5. Ethical Reporting

Our reporting follows responsible journalism practices:

We do not publish:

  • hate speech

  • discrimination

  • defamatory content

  • personal attacks

  • invasive or harmful material

We respect individual privacy unless information is publicly accessible and newsworthy.

🔹 6. Clear Distinction Between News & Opinion

PaisaMag publishes:

  • News (factual reporting)

  • Opinion/Analysis (interpretation or commentary)

Opinion pieces are clearly labeled and reflect the author’s views, not the platform’s editorial position.

🔹 7. Defence & Geopolitics Responsibility

For sensitive defence topics, we ensure:

  • no publication of confidential military information

  • no operational security compromise (OPSEC)

  • no disinformation

  • adherence to publicly available sources only

🔹 8. Financial & Market Reporting Ethics

For finance-related content:

  • We do not offer trading or investment advice

  • We avoid market manipulation

  • We clearly distinguish analysis from recommendation

  • Users are urged to verify through official data (RBI, SEBI, NSE/BSE)

🔹 9. Job Notifications & Government Exams

When publishing job updates:

  • We rely only on official government notifications

  • Provide source links when available

  • Encourage readers to verify on official portals

  • Clearly mention if a notification is tentative or updated

🔹 10. Use of AI Tools

PaisaMag may use AI tools for:

  • drafting assistance

  • grammar correction

  • data summarisation

However:

  • All final content is reviewed and approved by a human editor

  • AI-generated content is never published without verification

  • No AI hallucinations or false claims are tolerated

🔹 11. Corrections & Updates

If an error is identified:

  • We fix it promptly

  • Add correction notes when appropriate

  • Update time-stamps on updated articles

(See Corrections Policy page)

🔹 12. Transparency With Readers

We maintain complete transparency regarding:

  • authorship

  • sources

  • corrections

  • updates

  • partnerships

We do not hide conflicts of interest.
